Shreeya is a Junior at Montgomery High School. She has been learning bharatanatyam for the past 11 years since the tender age of 5. She has participated in many group and solo performances and has received various awards and titles such as Bala Kala Ratna under the auspices of DharmaPuram Adhinam in 2021 and won the first place in Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana in 2023.
In 2021 she completed a Certificate course in Bharatanatyam and in 2022 received her Advance Certification from the Performing Arts Academy, Alagappa University, India.
Shreeya is blessed to grow up as an integral part of Sri MahaPeriyava Manimandapam NJ USA, Namma Periyava Kovil, right from its inception as an idea to the grand consecration as the edifice it stands today. Her life as a toddler to teenager continues to revolve around the temple and its people, whom she considers as her extended family. She prays to her beloved Sri MahaPeriyava and Sri Sivam SAR to bless her with many more continued opportunities to do service at Namma Periyava Kovil in multiple ways.
